Science Policy Training and Education provided by NSPN: For those who are interested in learning about the ins and outs of science policy, this resource is an introduction into the detailed mechanics of how policy and science meet at every level of government. Modules will guide you through each branch of government and where science policy is integrated into the system, as well as giving you real-life examples of student groups and individuals around the United States who are taking science policy and advocacy into their own hands.
Dr. Deborah Stine’s Science and Technology Policy Academy: various courses to sharpen your science and technology policy analysis skills. These 6-week intensive courses are designed to help scientists, engineers, and health professionals be more competitive for fellowships and jobs in science and technology policy by learning how to conduct public policy analysis. Exampes include “Level 2: Public Policy Analysis for Scientists, Engineers, and Health Professionals,” “Level 3: Public Policy Analytical Methods for Decision-making: Benefit-Cost, Cost-Effectiveness, and Risk Analysis".”
European Science Diplomacy Online Course: The S4D4C European Science Diplomacy Course will familiarize you with international science and policy, and particularly with current European science diplomacy. Completing this course takes about 15 hours, and can earn you an official certificate!
